We are working hard and not doing much else. I did take some more sunset pictures – nearly the same angle as the last ones, but the colors are completely different.
Not sure what kind of birds these are, but I thought it was funny how they try to hold on to my little feeder to eat.
We really only have a month of full-time work left, then the restaurant will only be open on the weekends for the last five weeks or so, so we are waiting ’til then to take some longer day trips and see more of the area. Most everything is over an hour from here, but there are a few things that I want to do before we leave.
We have decided that we will probably come back her for one more summer. In fact I think quite a few of this year’s workers are planning on coming back. Although we have had some difficulties this summer with staff and lack of air conditioning, and lack of business until just recently, we do think we want to do one more summer. The restaurant is getting air conditioning, we will have more work campers working for us and fewer locals, and we will just be more prepared for the type and amount of business. More on this when we make a final decision.
As of now, we will try to leave here around the 15th to the 20th of October, and get to Wenatchee before the 1st of November. We plan to stay in Confluence park in Wenatchee for their limit of 20 days, then head to Seattle. We stayed in an RV park in Bothell right after we closed on the house, and we are thinking of staying there for the winter. Then most likely we will head back here sometime in April. Hopefully there won’t be too much snow while we are traveling, but …
