Very nice resort, with prices to match. Cost ranged from $40 - $80 a night, depending on what level of view you had. Nice sized sites, very well kept, newspaper delivery every morning. Nice big clubhouse. One indoor pool and hot tub, and one outdoor pool. 9 hole chipping course. 24 hour gate with guard. About half the lots have been bought. Prices ranged from $69,000 to 124,000 with a $175 a month home owners association fee.
Of course very nice location with direct beach access. Really nice ocean breeze. Temps were in the high 70’s the whole time we were there. Only one foggy morning, clear skies the rest of the time.
The resort had Wi-Fi through Coach-Connect. This was my first experience with Coach-Connect and it was not a good one at all. The Wi-Fi signal was very good throughout the resort, pretty much 100% no matter where I was. But the big problem was the internet did not work where we were at, the signal was really good and the computer connected to the network no problem. Had a proper ip address and all should have worked, but it just wouldn’t. So had to call Coach-Connect tech support and did everything they said and still did not work. They said they would have to open a “ticket” to have someone look into the problem. It never did work the week we were there, never even got so much as an e-mail letting me know what was going on. If you look in the photo in this post, the building that was 75 feet behind us is the clubhouse, I would go in there and the internet would work fine, walk back to my coach and even though the Wi-Fi signal was 100% wherever I went, the internet would not work. So based on this experience I would not recommend Coach-Connect unless you can somehow try it out at your site before you pay. Plus its a lousy system for logging in, even if all you want to do is check your e-mail you have to fire up your browser and log-in on a web page. Only one computer can be logged in at a time, so two people can’t surf the net on different computers at the same time. Thats pretty lame because the Wi-Fi network can handle that easily.
