We have not had anyone look at the house in weeks, so we are planning on being here for awhile longer. My seasonal job was ending, but Macy’s was still hiring for some permanent positions, so I accepted another job with them. I am now a full-time sales associate in the jewelry/handbags/hosiery/sunglasses/intimates division. I am excited to work in jewelry and hosiery(which includes belts, scarves, slippers, and other accessories), but I know nothing about designer handbags and sunglasses. And I am a bit intimidated by intimates. There will be a lot to learn in the next few weeks. Now I kind of wish I had taken a different holiday job, as selling Frangos in the front of the store did not really prepare me for this new job. A lot of the seasonal employees were assigned divisional positions so they could be moved wherever needed. By now, I would have had some experience in these areas. Oh well.

Kevin is now deciding if he would like to start looking for a job. My Mom has offered the use of her truck if we need another vehicle, and we will probably take her up on that. We will just cover her insurance costs, and she will let us use the truck for as long as we need it. She has a van that she drives–the truck is her second vehicle. And she will be in Arizona for the next three or four months, so it would just sit in her garage anyways. Once we have the truck, Kevin won’t be stuck here while I am at work. He can get a job if he wants to, or at least be able to get some things done around the coach and the house if need be. He doesn’t really need to work, but it is costing us some of our savings not having these houses sold, so he is thinking about it.
