A Couple of Days In Yuma

Today we got up early and drove about 20 miles to the Mexican border at the town of Algodones. We didn’t really need to buy anything, but we did want to check it out. My Mom has been here many times before, so she sort of showed us around. They mostly sell ceramics, metal art, jewelry, and leather goods. I did end up getting a small purse, a bracelet, and a ceramic pig for our entry way. My Mom bought tequila. We then went back to Yuma and did a few projects we needed to get done, and waited for dinner. We grilled steaks and made some baked potatoes, and my Mom’s friends provided the salad, the dessert, and the back porch. It was a nice evening, but we were tired, so we didn’t stay too late. Took the cat out a couple of times, then it was bed time.
