We are in Buda, Texas–about 12 miles south of Austin. We only drove 333 miles today. It was windy, but not as bad as yesterday. Our GPS routed us a little strangely as we approached our destination, but we did get there–we just took the “scenic” route. We pulled into the Cabela’s parking lot at around 4:00pm to discover that they don’t allow overnight parking at this location. We decided to check out the RV park across the street(probably the reason we couldn’t park at Cabela’s). It seemed like an okay place and they had space for us, so we decided to go ahead and pay to stay here rather than wander around looking for the Wal-Marts in town, which we might not have been able to stay at either.

We had a ton of leftovers in the fridge, so we made ourselves some dinner then sat outside for awhile. It was hot and humid when we arrived, but after the sun went down it was a very nice evening. The cat really liked being able to lay in the grass instead of a parking lot!!
