Today is check out day for 90% of our campers. We worked 8 - 5, although we did very little for the first three hours. Cabins must be checked out by 11 am, so we went and got a golf cart and loaded it up with our cleaning supplies, but the only two cabins we had keys for were the ones that never showed up. We did check them out just in case, but they didn’t need any cleaning. We spent the next hour and a half or so picking up trash. By that time, there were some people checked out so we got some cabin keys and started cleaning. We did two–one larger one and one smaller one. Then it was lunch time. After lunch, we needed to put in a phone call to one of the owners to get his wants for the snack shack. We sort of ran out of things to do, and since we didn’t want to finish early two days in a row, we decided we should clean one more cabin, then call it a day. It didn’t take us quite to 5:00, but it was close enough. There are still some campers here, but most of them are gone. The park is quiet again, so we spent the evening outside with the cat.
