Computer Desk

My brother helped me make this desk. Originally there was a love seat here, but we really didn’t need it with the full size couch directly across from it. I really needed a place to set up and sit at my computer, and we needed a place to permanently put our dishwasher so those were the goals of this project and it turned out quite well.
The right hand side holds the dishwasher and we made a slot on that side for the hoses to come up and attach to the kitchen faucet, when not in use they can slide back down and be flush with the top of the desk. Behind the dishwasher there is storage and we put our bread maker back there. Below the dishwasher is more storage space that fit 3 plastic drawers quite nicely. On the back lower area we put a shelf to hold all the cables and power supplies for my compter equipment.
I was able to find the exact formica that is used on our dinette table and acouple accessory shelves in our coach so ordered a sheet from Home Depot. I was thinking about trying to find a match for the corian used in the kitchen and bath, but that proved to be rather expensive. Stained and varnished it a cherry color, its not a perfect match, but close.
Overall it almost looks like it came with the coach. Plus its pretty easy to remove if we ever needed to put the love seat back in.
