We were open today from 11:00am-2:00pm, then again from around 3:45pm-8:30pm. We sold 46 pizzas — they seemed to go really well here. Most people bought more than one, and a few bought 4 or more. The main problem will be the tiny pizza oven. When people ordered four pizzas, their first one was out of the oven before the last one was even in the oven. It would be nice to have two of the little ovens, but that may never happen. We also got the brand new slushie machine running, and we sold about a dozen of those. It took a really long time for the mix to freeze, possibly because of the heat, but once it got to the right consistency, it was a good product.
We really thought we would be busy on Sunday, too, but the owners only wanted to be open Friday and Saturday this first week, just to see how everything worked. We are scheduled in housekeeping for Sun, Mon, and Tues. We would much rather be in the kitchen, but not this week I guess…
