We went to the Miami Seaquarium today. It is way more like a small Seaworld than an aquarium, but the shows were kind of fun. We had a buy one get one coupon, so it wasn’t too expensive, but we weren’t too happy to have to pay for parking in addition to the entrance fee…
I did take a bunch of pictures though.
We went to the flipper dolphin show first, and watched the dolphins flip around in the air.
The sea lions were very entertaining.

On the way out of the sea lion stadium, we could see a nice waterfront view of downtown Miami.
There was a tropical birds display, but many of them were not out because of the cold weather. The flamingoes were trying to keep warm.
The last show we saw was the killer whale with the white sided dolphins. They look just like baby killer whales–and they really could fly into the air!!
The discovery bay area had some turtles, crocodiles, and a couple deer.
Overall, it was fun and interesting, but if we had payed full price I think we would have been disappointed – it was by no means a full day activity…
After the seaquarium, we went back to our new favorite BBQ place, Shorty’s. Kevin got chicken and brisket and I got pulled pork again, and we both tried all three, and liked all three.
We have to get new tires put on the motor home next week, so on the way home, we drove by the place we will be taking it so we knew how to get there easily with the motor home. It will not be easy because it is a busy highway and fairly tight turns, but at least we won’t be towing, so we should be able to make it okay.

I enjoy ALL of the pictures Cyndi has taken unless there was one of a snake–I don’t think there have been but if I think the picture might be of a snake I don’t click on it.
I try not to include snake pictures without notice!!
