It was raining today so we decided to do the museums and the brewery today and do the arch tomorrow. We went to the Waffle House for breakfast. We both had waffles and we shared some sausage and toast, plus I had grits!! After breakfast we went to Forest Park–a huge park in St. Louis. First we went to the Missouri History Museum.
Then we drove by the World’s Fair Pavilion and the Jewel Box.
Then we went to the St. Louis Science Center. We wandered around a bit, but decided it was more for kids, so we didn’t stay. We tried to go to the St. Louis Art Museum, but it is closed on Mondays, so maybe we will go back there tomorrow.
Our next stop was the Anheuser-Busch Brewery tour. It is a huge facility here in St. Louis. The tour lasts about an hour and ends at a tasting room where they offer two samples to each tour guest. Pretty neat for a free tour.
Our last stop was to find a grocery store, then we went home. I did snap some pictures of some of the brick houses here in St. Louis. This old church is right by the RV park.
