People started checking in on Thursday this weekend, so we opened the snack bar for dinner Thursday night. It wasn’t too busy, but we did get some orders. Friday we decided to be open all day since there were already quite a few people here, and more checking in all day long. Friday was our busiest day of the weekend. Saturday was okay, but the weather wasn’t too good, so people weren’t at the pool. That always means the snack bar will be quiet. Today we woke up to thunder and lightening. It was pouring down rain. So we never opened the snack bar–then of course the storm passed and it turned out to be a nice day.
I took a few pictures of the new attraction in the park–an inflatable dragon slide. It was open most of the day Friday and Saturday, and the kids seem to love it!! It is huge–over two stories tall and it takes three blowers to keep it inflated. It does take two workampers to run the thing since there are two entrances and everyone has to remove their shoes, belts, and anything else sharp that might catch in the vinyl as they go down the slides.
We are off the next few days, so we only have 2-3 more work days here before we hit the road on the 20th…
