We worked the early shift for our first day, which meant getting to work at 7:30. I got up at 6:00 and took the cat for a nice long walk. I think he was a little confused by walking before sunrise, but it was so nice and quiet and cool that I think he enjoyed it anyway 
My day was fairly easy. I learned to open the store and print out the daily sheets. Then I did some reservations and check ins. I even took some phone calls.
Kevin got to work outside all day, so I’m not sure exactly what he did, but I know they trimmed some trees and unclogged a sewer line that someone had clogged up with lots of baby wipes. Sounds like fun!!
We are not used to getting up that early, so I was pretty tired by quitting time…plus the office is not that busy yet, so there is a lot of standing involved. After work, I went for a swim. I didn’t swim at all in Texas or Missouri, but I have already used this pool three times since we got here. It is very hot, and a swim in the afternoon is very relaxing, plus there are no kids in this park, so it has been very quiet at the pool so far.
