We drove about 370 miles today and are parked at the Quapaw Casino just outside of town. It is a tiny casino in a nondescript building, but we can park here for free with water and electric for up to three nights.
We got set up then drove into town for something to eat. It isn’t a very big city so we ended up at Mc Donalds. When we got back, we went into the casino and looked around. It is a dark little place with mostly slot machines and a little cafe. But they do offer free soft drinks and free ice cream!! to anyone who wants it. We both had a couple little dishes of ice cream then went back to the RV. I tried to take the cat for a walk, but the casino is right next to a cow pasture and he was pretty scared of the cows. We did walk a little, but then a train came by blowing its whistle, and the cat ran back to the coach. He has never been so scared in his life!! Hopefully we won’t have to listen to trains all night long–I’m sure we won’t be here for three nights if we do!!!
