We are off today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday have been our regular days off since we got here). We are going to go out to lunch today when most everything is still open, then probably have leftovers for dinner tomorrow. We can go to the Christmas potluck tomorrow afternoon, but we probably won’t.
I am hoping Walmart won’t be too busy this afternoon so we can get a few things while we are out, but there is nothing we can’t live without, so if they are too busy, we will just skip it and wait until next week when we do our regular shopping. We already went to the wholesale club earlier this week, but there are a few things I want that we can’t get there, at least in the quantities we need.
Kevin was able to get a few pictures of the work on the Tiki Pavilion. It is a huge improvement over what was there…
And here is what it looks like now:
I had to get some pictures of the inside too – it is amazing how evenly spaced and symmetrical it is on the inside. I think they did a really nice job. I have no idea how long something like this lasts, but it looks really good right now. Kevin said the company that did the repairs grow their own palm fronds just for this purpose, so I guess they can pick out the good ones to use on a big project like this one.

Well, not too much exciting is going on here. It has been nice and cool the past week or so – much more like we expected the winter to be. A few days have even been sweatshirt days… kind of nice after suffering through record highs these past couple of months.
