We got up early this morning and headed to downtown Miami for the boat show. It seems much smaller than the Ft. Lauderdale boat show that we went to in November, but there were more of the small boats we might be interested in and very few jumbo yachts. I only took a couple of pictures.
We looked at quite a few catamarans and sail boats, some of which I actually really liked. Still not sure about the motion sickness problem, but they do make some nice little boats.
Next, we were both hungry, so on the way home we stopped at Shorty’s BBQ. It is a log cabin style building with long picnic tables and a concrete floor (not a very good picture, but it is the only one I took).

Of the three BBQ places that we have tried in Miami, I think this was our favorite. The sauce was a little too thick, but it tasted good, and the meats were all really good.
We got back to the campground a little after five, and it was FULL. There are big rigs where we usually only ever put tenters, and some of the other overflow areas are also filling up. People are coming to Miami for the boat show, it is a long weekend, and there is a huge storm passing through this evening. Somehow all that added up to one full campground.
Not too long after I took these pictures, the storm started, so we are sitting in the RV in the dark watching the storm…
