We started work today by power washing the rubber mats that go in the kitchen. Unfortunately Kevin burnt himself pretty badly on the muffler of the power washer, and he was unable to do much for the rest of the day. We got our huge food order around 2:00, and we did get that all put away, but Kevin had a bag of ice in his hand the entire time!!
We got home from work around 4:00, and by 5:30, two other workampers had come by to let us know that if the storm got really bad to head to the laundry room. It is a big cement building that I guess is their storm shelter. The clouds were swirling above us, and it got very dark, but aside from some heavy rain and thunder and lightening, it wasn’t bad, and the worst of it only lasted around an hour.
