…but nothing exciting has happened since I last posted. We worked our normal shifts all week, then we had Thursday and Friday off. We did some grocery shopping on Thursday, then after we got home, I decided I wanted to do some after Christmas shopping. I went up to the outlet mall, and I did buy a few of things – a folding cheese grater, a Disney World Outlet T-shirt, some Christmas cards and a couple of ornaments. Friday I wanted to go out to Everglades National Park, but by the time we were thinking about leaving, it was already sprinkling a little. We got a downpour shortly after, so we were happy we decided to stay home. I did some cleaning and read an entire book that day.
Since Saturday night, it has been quite cold for Florida. A couple of weeks ago, we were experiencing record high temperatures, and this week Miami may see some record lows. It could even get below freezing tomorrow night.
Well, that’s about it–like I said, nothing much going on. We are starting to think about when we will be leaving and what we may want to do on our way to Wisconsin. Hopefully we will have at least a couple of weeks to get up there, and that we will be able to see something new along the way. It will mostly depend on how soon we need to start work up there, and if we want to try to go on a cruise before we leave Florida. We would like to, just because we are right here, and it seems silly not to go if we can.
